Chin emergency
Question: I have a familly of 13 chins. I have had a tradegy with one of my young ones getting caught on the side of her cage and breaking her leg beyond repair. My options, amputation or euthenasia. I live in Philly, so U-penn vet school is the best in the area, and the most expensive. I have her surgery scheduled for tomorrow morning, It's setting me back 2 grand. Too save her life, I must let go some of my personal herd. All are my favorites and exteamly well socialized. Ages 8 months to 4 years of age. I have Standards, Sapphires and Pink whites available. I am flexable on pricing and may have some breding pairs with cages available. Contact me @ prudence@partyspace.com if interested Answer: Our prayers are with you & your baby. Answer: Sorry to hear about your little one. Good luck with everything, and keep us posted how it goes Answer: They aborted her surgery today. She is so little they had problems inserting the cathater to her lungs, and her temp began to drop. They will attempt again tomorrow, thanks for everyones concern. Answer: Whatever happened, were they able to operate? Is she okay? Answer: My little fella has had his Amputation. He is doing well. It was performed at U-Penn's Vet School by Dr. Fordham. Very Stressfull!!! They had to abort the procedure the first time as they had trouble with the,(sp?)inkubation process. On the second attempt they tried again to inkubate, but stopped and went on with the procedure. ( three days of anestia really scared me.) After two weeks of antibiotics, syringe feedings and Saline injections, his stiches were removed and he seems good as new! He is amblitory, just a little easier to catch, and once his hair grows back in, you wont even be able to see his missing leg. I'll buy a pc card for my camera and post pics soon. Thanks for your concern, we are recovering well. Prudence;> Answer: I'm glad to hear that everything is going well, after some very scary times. Answer: I'm glad everything is okay ... though I'm a little intrigued ... when did he/she change genders?? Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
