Question:
My uncle's cat Feebe got shot with an arrow today! It went right through her chest and came out near her rearend. My uncle said the tip looked as if it had been cut off...like someone was trying to hide it. Amazingly she is still alive and just woke up from surgery later this evening. He said she recognized his voice and was sitting up...so that is a good sign. He's trying to find the person who did it. I mean it could have been a child that got shot! -shakes head- It's so sad. She was is the friendliest cat. I want to know what kind of person would do something like that? It was on the news and I tried to find it online for you guys to see the x-ray, but I couldn't. :shrugs:
I just hope she makes it..poor thing.

I'm glad to hear she is okay! She's a strong kitty to pull through. People are so sick - it's very worrying that someone is going round shooting off arrows. I have to point out that to say that it could've been a child that got shot is devaluing your uncle's cat. It's bad enough that the cat got shot with an arrow - your statement makes it sounds as if it's okay it was only a cat that got shot and not a child, and I'm sure you didn't mean that. For me, it's a horrible thing to happen, whoever or whatever got shot.

I hope she continues to do well. Hopefully your uncle will keep her indoors now so it doesn't happen again.

No, I didn't mean that. I typed it out quickly.. I think it's horrible what happened.
I just found out it went through 2 places in her intestines and her bladder. She's doing ok now...I will keep you all posted.

the sad thing is if he had have shot a human, he would be in jail right now, hopefully just because its a cat, the man doesnt get off without being punished

I saw that on Fox news last night!! That is your uncle's cat?? That arrow looked humungous, poor thing! I hope she continues to do well and your uncle does find out who did this and gets some justice.

Yes, that's my uncle's cat. She's a cute lil girl isn't she? She is (was) trained to use the toilet..not sure if she will be able to now. :shrugs:

They are taking it very serious. They say it's an extream case of animal abuse..which is true. I'm hoping they catch the person who did this..or they fess up (which most likely won't happen).
