Hyak's big adventure!
Question: This morning we were having breakfast when a little chinnie peeked in at us through the glass kitchen door Hubby was just getting up to get the coffee when Hyak had his nose pressed to the glass looking at us. We promptly went to catch him which he really wanted no part of... He was having way too much fun! My little adventerous boy had jumped out of his cage sometime during the night. Snuck out of the chinnie room, through the recroom up the stairs and across the livingroom to us in the kitchen. I think my son had been visiting him late last night and forgot to latch the door properly. The cage has a weird latch that if you don't just get it right it pops open. He must have been out all night. Thank goodness my house is pretty baby safe and thus chin safe. Their isn't really anything he could get into. He must have had a great time exploring since once I put him back in his cage he promptly sprawled out and fell asleep, exhausted! Answer: HAHA If only they could talk and tell you all about his adventure. Answer: I'm glad Hyak had a good time and is OK. Must have been quite a surprise to see him looking at you through the glass. Answer: I am glad he made it back to his home safely. I had a 2 day old baby escape from his cage and I spent forever looking for him and he's crawled behind a dresser that was almost against the wall. It had a solid front so I had no idea. I was crying and then my dad suggested there! I had a few chins get away from me during playtime or cleaning time and they ALWAYS go under the bed into the furthest corner so I can't get them Answer: He's such a friendly little boy. He probably just wanted to be where all the action was in the morning... Maybe he could smell the breakfast... Knowing him, that was probably it! Answer: that would have been cute to see!!! you could probably follow the poop trail and it would tell you exactly where hes been Answer: What a great big world he must have explored! Such dangers! Such excitement! Such wonderful new things to chew on! Answer: Oh yes, he definitely found a few new corners to chew on. I had a little poop trail in my office and up the stairs. He even left poop in one of my spare cages. I'm wondering if he found a piece of the dogs food or something he shouldn't have eaten like maybe crumbs the kids left around. His poops were bit softer than normal last night ...hmmm! Little monkey. I'll keep a real close eye on him. I gave him a bit of oats and some burnt toast just incase. He seems very active and looks like he is ready for another adventure if I'd let him... Answer: What a rascal! Glad he's back safe and sound! Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
