Question:
We got all the paperwork taken care of and now have a guest in the house for about 10 days. His name is Smudge and he is an asbolute sweetheart! He's highly social and craves our attention any time we are in sight. Get him excited and he'll even swish his tail at us He is also very vocal and loves to hoot and squeak at us.

Is he a cuddler or a leave-me-a-loner?


Answer:
He's definitely not a leave-me-a-loner, but he's not exactly a cuddler either. He REALLY enjoys chin and chest scratches and LOVES being with people, but he's still young and very curious so he always wants to be busy exploring things.
I feel kind of sorry for him being alone in his cage and they have very little toys in there (one chew block, 1 stuffed panda buddy, and one wooden cutout pear shape). I had some spare wood parts for some of my toys so I made him a small chew toy. He's LOVING it and is playing with it at every chance he gets when we are not paying attention to him.

I forgot to say he also has a wheel. I guess I shoul have said he doesn't have many chew toys.

We're actually looking after him twice. At the moment, he's here until October 8 (next weekend). Then his owners come back for a week or week and a half and he comes back here for another 5-7 days.
