Juliet and Ophelia at it again
Question: Last night, I thought I would make one more grand attempt to make Juliet and Ophelia friends, so I put them both in the huge, new cage that didn't smell like either one of them and then I watched. Ophie chased Juliet, like she usually does, but gave them some time hoping that they would be able to work out their differences. Then they stopped running around, they were quiet and they looked like they were cuddling or something. I puzzled over this for a few seconds and when I interupted them I discovered that Ophelia had been chomping on Juliet's neck! She's actually missing a small chunk of skin! She didn't lose any blood, but I feel HORRIBLE! Needless to say, that's the LAST time I try to aquaint the two girls. Juliet cuddled in my lap for a long time and then I put them back in their original cages. I think that maybe Juliet could be friends with another female chin since she was not the agressor, but there will be no more chances for Ophie! 'Tis a shame - Ophie is a gorgeous girl, gets along great with Romeo, and is fine with people if you can catch her, and I'm going to be late for my son's piano lesson. Kristine Answer: Ouch! I'm sure Juliet will heal up just fine. Answer: Poor Juliet, I'm sure she'll be okay though Answer: Yes, Juliet will be fine. I've been checking on her lots and she's her normal self. Her and Ophie's fur coats are certainly a mess, though. They were almost perfect looking in time for that last round of photos I took, and now they're all unpresentable again. Oh, well. Kristine Answer: YIKES! sounds like those two just refuse to get along. Glad to here Juliet will be ok though! Give lots of cuddles and kisses from me and the babies! Answer: I'm glad to here they are both ok, tell Ophie not to be such a bully... Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
