Calcium ?
Question: Cracker's teeth are looking awfully white. I know that happens sometimes after new kits are born. What can I give her to increase her calcium intake? I am already giving her a half tums every day - she gobbles them up! Is there anything else I can give her? Answer: I gave Hazel calf manna while she was lactating. I don't know how much calcium is in it compared to Tums though. Answer: 2 (Linus and peppermint) out of 3 (Sally) recommend cuttlebones they go gaga over them and gobble them up within minutes...........Sally on the other hand prefers tums Answer: Cuttlebones are good. I have also given calcium sticks that I bought from ChinWorld.com Michelle Answer: Have you tried the calcium sticks by Vitakraft? That's what I'm giving Tinsel right now to help with the bone healing process. Answer: Vitakraft is the same brand that I use. The chins really like them too! Answer: lol @ 2out of 3.. hehe I give Isabella the cuttlebone.. I havent tried tums. would rolaids do the same thing for her??? Im sure she would looooove it!! Answer: I think I'll go buy some Calcium sticks today ... Cracker is not crazy about cuttlebone ... but maybe I'll get one anyways and see what she does. Heck, maybe the babies will like it Answer: This is just my opinion but I don't think the calcium sticks have all that much calcium in them. They are more of a treat than anything. I would suggest getting powdered dry milk and rolling a raisin in it. Answer: Lisa.. Im sure the babies will love the cuttle bone. Gypsy is the one that goes for it first.. but of course.. she tries to take everything from her mommie.. poor Isabella.. lol Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
