whiskers
Question: Is it normal for whiskers to fall out??? I mean not alot but since I have had Diego (Pika) he has lost 2 whiskers, I check them quite alot because at first I thought maybe somehting happened,,they don't seem dry and they are not broke,,,,,,so I was wondering if this is normal??? I found one in the bathroom during play time and another in the cage when I cleaned it Answer: oh and another thing it wasn't the same day, he lost his first one about a week after i had him and he lost the other just the other night Answer: Tinsel has had the same thing happen. I think it's just a normal process of them growing out and being replaced. Just like hairs on our bodies Answer: oh,,okay good,,I haven't noticed my female losing any tho????? Answer: Maybe it's just a coincidence that you saw the male's whiskers and not the female's? Answer: I've never had chins before, but all the cats I've had have always "shed" whiskers; I'm sure it's fine. Answer: He's prolly shedding his old ones, he's a big boy now, hehe Answer: I did find one or two of whiskers from my chins... and I do knw that my cat looses whiskers all the time..
