mom bitting the baby

Question:
Ok now my chins is bitting her baby everytime he goes and nurse. I checked her and it is not red in fect they feel verry flat. Could she be dried up? I checked his teeth and they look like my other chin and there is no bit marks on the mom so whats up? I got a nother mom who will take him in or should I supplement him and how long should I do it he is almost 150g and 4 weeks old.

Answer:
Mom could just be getting fed up with the baby. He could be biting her, it doesn't take much. Those small little nipples must be very sensitve and you've seen the teeth on the little babies. I would put some powdered milk and oat baby cereal in a baby creep and see if he will take some.
Maybe mom is dried up and he needs a bit more baby food. At four weeks they are eating quite a bit on there own anyways. I don't know about moving him to another mom. I have never done that at that age so I can't help you with that. Supplementing may be the way to go.

Answer:
he is a big boy and dose eat all the time the other mom has an older baby so that is way I ask

Answer:
I agree with the supplementing. If her nipples are not red now, they sure will be with the baby constantly trying to nurse from her.

Answer:
should I take him out ? I dont want her to realy hurt him she is verry tempermentel all the time. lol

Answer:
is this the same baby that lost a leg because of his mom?

Answer:
Yea it is a baught this chin a cuple of mo ago pregant alredy. When she had the baby my male was in there so I took out the male verry fast and put him in a nother cage. then checked on the mom and baby. MOM did have blood on her nose did not think too much till I saw the kit. but he seamed ok and walking fine eatting good. Till now. I think this female sould not be a bredder any more due to this and her size. So yes I am not breeding her ever. If I knew how small she was I would not have baught her but the person who sold her to me said she is thin and needs weight but that is not the case any more and she also said she was a sweet chin but I can not hold her too long and when I frust got her she silped fur just for pettings. I do have Tino away from mom now and he is doing fine.

Answer:
