Wet chin!!!
Question: On two occasions now, I have gone to check on Buddy and found him with a soaking wet neck and leg. I really don't know how he manages it. I know that the first time that it happened, I was sleeping, but I was woken up by him pulling and slamming his water bottle. I guess that he must have been trying to tear his water bottle off (which is no surprise), and the bottle leaked on him because he was pulling so much... Answer: good grief.. he must either be realy thirsty or realy mad at the water bottle. do you have the bottle on the inside or the outside of the cage? we keep our all on the outside of the cages. (well except for Isabellas and Gypsys. theirs wont hang outside.) Answer: It's on the outside...I think that he gets angry at the fact that he can't tear the bottle off. He used to knock his old bottle off on a nightly basis, but he can't get this one off... Answer: How long has he had that bottle? Maybe he just needs to get used to it Answer: He's had it for quite a while (I'd say about 8 months or so). Answer: maybe it's all the pent up anger from 8 months of trying to get the bottle that 's getting to him? Answer: OH SOPHIE! Answer: whaaaaaaaaaaat? Answer: Sophie, I agree with you! He is soooo stubborn!!! He doesn't like things that he can't destroy right away, and I am sure that the bottle is driving him crazy. Answer: Chica does that too! I freaked out the first couple of times she did it - I thought she was slobbering! LOL She doesn't do it all the time, but just once in a while. I have no suggestions for getting them to quit though.
