Question:
I went to Ryerson's tonight to pick up feed and hay for the crew. I picked up some used feeders from them one for each of my cages. They are really great, I had to cut the cage wire to put them in but it was easy enough. The chins are really loving them and of course I kept having to shew them back when I was trying to cut the wire so they wouldnt get there nose cut, goofy boys. Well then as im inserting them Rascal decided to help me and grab the feeder well instead he got my finger, I can say I got my first REAL bite from a chin, bleeding and all. He did it and then looked at me like OOPS.
Next on my list is the tip in dusters they have then a carrier they design. I also got 15lbs of pellets and 5 lbs of cubes. I love being able to just drive over and pick up my chinnie supplies, save shipping, and know I get great quality stuff. That and the postive of being able to see all there amazing chins. I love the black velvets I got to see today they have such WONDERFUL animals, and Jan and Richard are just wonderful people.

Christy that is so cool. Im glad that you live so close.. shipping is horrible.. Im in search of some suppliments and I have been looking at shipping costs and its outragous. Im glad the chins like their new feeders. lol @ Rascal helping you.. I bet he got as freaked out as you did when he realized what he got ahold of.. hehe.

Pam it is great, I was telling Jan I get twice as much food, KNOW its fresh for about 1/3 of what I was paying its WONDERFUL. The look on Rascals face was priceless he kind of slinked back and then slinked backed up to the side of the cage again like UH OH IS MOM ging to be mad at me?? I petted his nose and told him it was okay THIS TIME lol.

Christy, I know what it's like to get bitten like that. Ginger bit me really hard the other day ... I was holding a piece of dried pineapple and she missed her target
Man, did it ever hurt! It was really deep and bled everywhere!

Candice the Ryersons feed Tradition and ive seen so much of a diffrent from switching, I started off using Mazuri then switched to Oxbow later on and they never really seemed enthusatic about eatting. Then I started talking to the Ryersons and they sold me a small sample of feed the chins LOVED IT. And have been going nuts over there pellets ever since.
Cinnamon it did hurt the little well Rascal lol. He got me right above the tip of the finger nail and I knew he bit me but not how deep kept doing what I Was doing till I looked down adn saw blood all over my finger.
