seperating chins

Question:
well I finally seperated Gypsy and Isabella.. boy was that a chore.. as soon as I grabbed Gypsy she squeeled.. and Isabella freaked.. lol but I did it!!
I had actually found out that Gypsy was chewing Isabellas whiskers off. she has little stubbles of whiskers left. I thought that maybe I could just leave them together so they would have company.. but not with that happening. so when I checked on Gypsy she was hiding out in her tube sleeping.. Ill check on her again before I go to bed.

Answer:
aww poor little Gypsy. She's probably sulking cause her mama is gone. She'll get over it though I bet it was quite the feat to get those two apart! Is Isabella back with Wooki?

Answer:
no Isabella isnt back with Wooki yet.. still working on that.. dont understand why its such a task now when it wasnt the first time.. lol
yeah poor little Gypsy is just sitting in there not making much noise.. but Isabella... I cant tell if she is sad or happy.. she was out of her tube yesterday almost all day.. it could have either been because she was looking for Gypsy or because she was finally able to with out being bounced on.. hehe

Answer:
Gypsy was chewing on Isabella's whiskers? Aww, poor Isabella. Is Gypsy a high strung chinnie? Separating a kit from mum is always hard on the kit and depending on the mother, the mother too. I remember separating Sebastian from Tweety and you think I was torturing them. It was so heartbreaking because they both missed each other so much.

Answer:
me and Andy were in the room just a little bit ago and Andy was talking to Gypsy.. and she was just whining!!! lol.. poor baby. I think Isabella is just fine without Gypsy in there.. although when she hears a squeek then she starts looking for Gypsy..

Answer:
Gypsy is sulking today!!! lol poor little girl. Im hoping that I didnt do this wrong.

Answer:
Pam, it's hard but hey I'm sure with time they won't be sad anymore

Answer:
Pam, it's pretty hard to "do it wrong" unless you're weaning too early. I'm pretty sure Gypsy is old enough (even though I can't remember how old she is)... she should be approximately 8 weeks old, although if it's just Mom & girl baby you could potentially leave them together forever (unless, of course, you are reintroducing Mom & Dad
Don't worry, it gets easier. I'm always happy when I have 2 boys or 2 girls to separate together .... I've definitely found it easier because they at least get to keep a buddy. The Moms have always seemed quite relieved

Answer:
Lisa, Gypsy is older than your twins. she was born on April 26th. I was thinking about leaving her and Isabella together.. but I do want to put Isabella back in with Wooki.. and not to mention Gypsy biting Isabellas whiskers off.
my other thinking was to put Gypsy in with Mimi.. cause Mimi is by her self.. but Im not sure that Mimi would appreciate company... she has been by her self for ever. I guess I could always try it.. and see how it goes.

Answer:
Whatever you decide I hope it works
