Question:
Because I am spending so much time working in Halifax I am forced to leave hank alone @ home, in Deviated's care. She has everything she needs but the way she has been acting I know she is angry. When I was there this week, she wouldn't eat & behaved badly on the leash. She obviosly knew I was leaving for a while again this morning & she cuddled up to me, a rare occurrence, indicating she didn't want me to go. And then when I was saying goodbye she looked very upset. Only since my work schedule started has she EVER hissed @ me, & it makes me very sad. I don't know how to make it up to her.
This time I am away for over a week due to work. I really need to know how to make it up to her. Thanks.

Neuro I wish I could help you and give you some advice.. but I wouldnt know what to say. cats have their own personalities so they all act differently. Aspen is always happy to see us come home.. and even when we go away for the weekend I can tell that he is upset but more happy to see us. I hope there is a way that you can make it up to her. and she will be in a better mood.

Thanks pamm. It is so hard to say with Hank. She hates everybody with me & is super- attached to me & hates being left alone. I know she misses our walks outdoors & playing fetch. But I have to work, I can't be there for her right now.

aww poor Hank.. it would be nice if they could actually understand why we leave the house. then she would know that your doing it because you need to and not because you want to leave her home.

Im not a cat person so I cant totally relate but I know my dogs would hate me if I go away for more than a day (and even then they dont like it lol) try maybe extra time or extra treat when you come in the door?

We tried that but the transportation was too difficult & she was acting badly. So she's in good hands in the Valley but I know she is plotting her revenge.

lol she is going to save up all of her cat food and have a huge food fight with you when you walk in the door one day.. she is going to use her claws to shred up your shoes and your furniture.. hehe I can just hear the thoughts going thru Hanks head now!!
