chin cages for sale
Question: hi im thinkin about gettin a chinchilla soon. if i can anyways. i have found a couple i like that are in missouri where i live. on is a hey ebony female who is 5 months old and the lady wants 50$. the reason why she is so cheap is becuase she has tomany ebonies and she needs to find her a new home quick. the other is a beige femals kit and the same lasy is askin 75. also i found a cage. it is a rabbit hutch though and i was wonderin if that was the same thing. she wants 70 dollars for it. this is the dicription "This is a large rabbit type hutch, still in the box new unassembled. They cost about $120.00 new. I have decided to make the melamine cages so this needs to go. It is baby safe wire, and has a pull out dropping pan. I have two other cages like this one, we cut pine boards and put them in for shelves and they love it! Lots of room. I will not ship it, the box is huge!" could one chin maybe two later on live in this??? also if u have cages that are for sale in missouri please let me know. Answer: emy we'd have to know the dimensions. I have an extra large rabbit cage that is made by Hagen and it is OK for two chinnies. (It is 39.5" long x 21"wide x 18.5" high). But I have seen other rabbit cages that are way too small. Chinnies like to jump so you need to make sure the cage is tall enough to accomodate ledges (which it seems to do according to your description). Is the lady you are considering buying from a breeder? Do you mind telling us who she is? Maybe she could provide you with the dimension of the cae so you get a better idea of whether or not it's good for your chinnie Answer: I just emailed the person with the cage askin about the dimensions. Also yes the lady is a breeder. Her name is Sylvia Hess and she lives in Poplar Bluff, Mo. This is some additional info. This het eb female is out of ebony mom and tan dad. I have too many het eb females now and have priced her low to move her fast. I am located in southeast Missouri near the bootheel and near parts of Kentucky, Illinois, Tennesee and Ark. The kits info is: This female is out of 2 beige violet carrier parents. Both parents are in the 600 gram plus range, weight wise. Good producing line. hope that helps Answer: alright. Keep us posted. Maybe one of our members from the US has heard about this breeder and can recommend her chinnies for you Answer: thanks. i have not emailed her cause im not sure if i can get a chin this moment im just lookin into it. but ill keep u guys posted Answer: oh ok. I thought the lady selling the chin and the lady selling the cage were the same person. I guess they are seperate. I meant keep us posted about cage dimensions (about your chinnie too though!). We have a lot of people around here that can help you make sure you are getting what you pay for Answer: thanks that is reasuring. im not that experienced so i may need some help. also i was wonderin if a guinneapig and chinchilla can live to gether like in the same room. i have a pig and he has his own cage but i was wonderin if they could sometimes stay in the same cage??? Answer: i found another cage that is for sale for 45$ they payed 60 for it. it looks like this http://www.geocities.com/Petsburgh/P...rsale/cage.jpg. u may have to copy and paste the link. Answer: does all pet or pets mart have safe chinchilla cages??? im not sure if i want to order one. Answer: no not all of them carry good chinnie cages. Sometimes ferret cages make good chinchilla habitats. It's generally not a good idea to put a guinea pig and a chinchilla in the same cage. The reason is that chinchillas require a very specific diet and gp food could make them sick. Not to mention that some chinnies get stressed when they have another species sharing their cage. They might be able to live with their cages in the same room though. Maybe another memeber can confirm that for you. That last cage you showed us has been on that site for like 6 months now. The breeder is closed down so I'm not sure if she sill has those cages for sale. I supposed it wouldnt' hurt to try. That specific cage looks big enough for just one chinnie though.
