...well sort of. We always have cats at the school that are wild and live in one of the sheds. They are good mousers and basically fend for themselves. There was a litter or four awhile back that then became a litter of three. Yesterday I went in there and one of the kittens was all alone and crying like you wouldn't believe. I knew that one of my friends was looking for a kitten so I brought her into the office. Well it turns out that my friend adopted a cat already so now Bones (her(?) new name) is the official shop cat. She is the sweetest thing. She starts purring the second you pick her up and is really affectionate. She is really skinny right now (can feel every rib) but she has a good appetite and has been drinking alot so I think she will be just fine. She is using her litter box and settling in very nicely. She makes going to work much more fun.

awwww she sounds like a cutie. that was how my kitten was when i got him. all skinny and could feel the bones, but now and is plesently plump. lol just now i was layin on my stomach with my palm of my hand in the air and he would go and jump on it like he was killin a mouse. lol it didnt hurt though. he like went for my rist as if it was the neck of another animal. it was a kodak moment.

Yes, she has her own bed and her food and everything in there. Plus the main caretaker lives on-site and his kids come to visit her. It's not a great situation but it's better than when she lived in the shed without any other contact and confined to hot, stinky, dirty shed.
