What do you think about this?

Question:
Do you think it would be okay to feed a cat wet food all the time rather then dry food? I just was thinking and was curious to know what you guys think about it?

Answer:
i think it is good to have varity. servin hard cat food most the time and soft as treats like a thansgivin and holidays or just once a week. that is what i do anyways. also are u talkin about addin water or milk to hard cat food or like canned cat food???

Answer:
Well I feed hard food with cat food once in awhile but I was just thinking while watching my cat eat her wet food and was wondering if they could just eat wet food all the time? I mean the canned food

Answer:
I wouldn't...because the hard food is good for keeping some of the tartar off their teeth...
Emy...not sure if you're aware of this, but never give a cat milk...their digestive systems can't handle it and they get diarrhea...

Answer:
I meant hard food with wet food

Answer:
Hank's teeth are bothering her as she awaits a dental visit, so she is eating pretty much all soft food by Nutro & Precise & doing great. I have read that the teeth-cleaning properties of kibble food are vastly overrated.

Answer:
Shannon...I thought you meant 'exclusively' wet food...mixing it should be fine...
I give my cats dry food free-fed..but only 1 of my cats will eat wet food, so I offer him a bit every evening...

Answer:
Yup I was asking about 'exclusively' wet food

Answer:
I think it makes them have softer poops and even diareah too...
what I do is feed Aspen a half can (of small moist food) every morning and every evening.. then he has his hard food all the time. so he gets both. sometimes he prefers his hard food over the soft food.
I have also heard (Su correct me if Im wrong) that milk can actually kill a cat.. cause they cant tollerate the lactose. and it does something to their digestive system (like Su said.. but I think it can be more fatal)

Answer:
i dont givet them milk. i have heard of it though.
