Just introduced Seaside the guinea pig to Cub, & Cub immediately stood up & blasted @ Seaside, whom I quickly moved out of the way. Cub's pee hit my sleeping bf, who woke up & said "What the f**k???!!!"
So I guess Cub isn't interested in being friends with other rodents...... ........or coffee cups, lol!!!!!!

Chinchillas will spray urine when they are threatened/frightening/ticked off etc. Some do it a lot, some never do. It doesn't stink. It is basically just a scare tactic for predators.

Emy I don't find chinnie urine smells at all. My hamsters had urine the smelled stronger than chinnie urine.
