Yeah, so today I started measuring how much food the chins get in an effort to save my outrageously priced Kline pellets. Every single one of them looked at me like "wait, I have to actually put my head INTO the bowl?" Spoiled chins

I used to let my goo's forage for their food but then I got a different cage for them that had a wire floor and a food tin.. so I started putting it in the food tin.. and they were like
"well this is boring"
and would take their food out and store it places in the shavings but then it would fall farther into the shavings under the wire and they woudln't be able to reach it

haha, i tried to let pocky forage for his food, but he would just sit in his food dish and give me that "What's the big idea, i'm supposed to WORK for something?!" look. It just goes to prove there's absolutely no winning! He sometimes noses through his bowl and gives me the offended "Why isn't there red river in here?!" look too, because he gets it every two days in his food lol.

my hamster is like that. She won't eat her food out of a dish. I have to throw it on the floor of her cage so she can stuff her cheeks and then go hide it where I can't find it (in her big CLEAR cage )
I wonder how much $ I'm going to save by not free-feeding. I know that just Azure will save me a fortune, he knocks the food bowl over at least once a day

I'm getting it from Ann, $.85 a pound, and I order 50 pounds at a time It only lasts 3 months, and I've got 11 chins I'm wasteful

I think it is the shipping that kills, not the price of the pellets...
