combs?
Question: where did y'all get yours chicnhillas combs? Answer: I have a flee comb intended for cats. It works good enough for me. Answer: hmm.. never thought of using one of those for chinchillas.. maybe I will pick one up.. and isnt there a certain way to comb them?? like from back to front?? or am I wrong? Answer: Try Stewart's Chinchilla supplies in Acton, ON. Their phone number is (519) 838-9171 and their email is stewchin@albedo.net. You can also get #3 and #4 combs from NCBC if you are a member. Answer: Kayla, I bought my comb from the Ouderkirks. You can also buy combs at ChinWorld. Pam, yes, you always groom from back to front. I completely recommend purchasing a grooming comb versus a slicker brush or something similar. A grooming comb collects a lot more unwanted hair. Answer: thanks, but is there anyone out there that dont sell their for 30+ i mean i would love to get two combs but i really dont want to spend 30+dollars for one Answer: Kayla, I honestly don't know what comb would be equivalent to the grooming combs I told you about. Candice said she uses a flea comb intended for cats so you can try one of those. I do understand what you mean about the combs being expensive. The reason why they are so expensive is because they are hand crafted in South America. Answer: I use a flea cmob for small animals and it works jus fine. I got it at our local pet store for about $8 canadian Answer: I splurged and got a #3 comb from ChinWorld. I combed through Praline's fur and was just astounded at how much dead hair I got out, and how gorgeous she looked! I've bought a couple flea combs and they just don't compare, IMO! Answer: Hmmm, makes me wonder if I should splurge too. Although, I only have one chin that will tolerate it. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
