You know I think that it was Linus who split her chin cage into two sections

Answer:
Cinnamon

Answer:
Christy, the pic of my split cage is here : http://www.pets-on-the-net.com/forum...ight=cage+pics
The cage itself is over 4 feet tall, and it is split in the middle. I used regular melamine and the sides are 3 inches from bottom to top. My Dad is building me another divider for my 2nd big cage -this time we're building the sides up a bit because the shavings get EVERYWHERE

Answer:
Thanks Im thinking of either splitting my cages (tall martins cages) or building totally new cages for them. what brand is your cage if I can ask?

Answer:
Christy, I have a Midwest ferret cage - it's this one : A three story collapsible cage . It has two large doors for easy access on all levels. Smooth rolling wheels for easy moving! Overall dimensions 36"x24"x48" high.

Answer:
split my cage in half by dividing it down the middle with a 1/2 by 1/2 inch mesh so now the 2 girls are roomies but yet have seperate living quarters.........they love it and are often seen sitting together against the mesh on the top shelf......i have small corner shelves and one long big shelf at the top which stretches from ones apartment to the other..............I am now thinking off placing a door in the mesh screen so they can visit during the day if they please.they get along great now when they are out..........so 1 big cage is now 2 fairly decent size cages which now provides alot of height for them...they are very happy with the arrangements
my cage is a hagen ferret chinchilla cage number(product number in the search section) 955..............you can see it under the www.hagen.com

Thanks I appreciate it. Im trying to decide what to do with the boys and space wise, I want to make it more uncluttered in the critter room.

Answer:
I hear you there! I am trying to figure out ways to reduce the amount of scattered cages and hodge-podge sizes At least once I have the 2nd cage divided, I'll only need 1 other cage. When my last beige baby goes (if he ever sells, that is) then I'll just need the 2 Midwest cages + the maternity cage when necessary.

Answer:
What would you say would be a suitable cage size for two chins (both boys) that get along great?
I have these really big 3 level cages and I swear they rarely use more than the top shelf in them seems like a waste of space to me lol
