Baby is our 3 month old Siamese kitten. I know that Siamese are notorious for being vocal, but this is ridiculous lol. He constantly wants attention (which he usually gets) but if we don't get to him as quickly as he feels we should he lets out this God awful cry! We have 3 other cats so I know he isn't lonely, is there anything we can do to curb his volcalness? ty

We have this stuffed frog thing that has cat nip in it that we give to Luna when she gets like that. She's only half-Siamese, but she's really vocal, especially when she's in heat. But she loves this froggy and it calms her down for a while. Does Baby have a special toy that you can give her when she gets vocal?

To be honest, there probably isn't much you can do. I have a very vocal cat, Max, who taught our other cat to "talk". The two of them chatter so much it's unbelievable. Usually I just talk back to them (yes, I am crazy ) and it quiets them down.

Maybe behaviour modification? Do you think if you ignored him when he cries he will learn that it doesn't get him attention? Or would that make him worse?
