Question:
Last night I was feeding and tidying the girls' cage and I noticed something funny about Zoya. Half of her ear was missing!! There was a line straight across where the ear looked like it had been cut off (it was a really straight line) so of course I panic and start checking the cage for blood or the missing ear. I did a once over on her (as she snoozed on her shelf) and she seemed to be fine. Well, I couldn't find the ear anywhere so I decided to coax her out (she's really shy) with a raisin to at least clean what was left of the ear. It turns out that she has an uncanny ability to flop her ear completely over in half (so you can't tell it's in half). Her ear flopped back as soon as she heard the raisins. I think my heart may have stopped for a second or two...
