opssssssssss i did it again
i went to petsmart just to pick up a bag of shavings..............walked out of the store with a truck load of things..........they have gotten so many new chinchilla supplies in and I am so impressed........
I boguth 2 leap-n-ledges at 8.50 each ( pretty decent price) and then i got 2 calcium chew stixs.........(they are going nuts over them right now)
got linus a calcium chew block which attached to the cage............she loves that too...........then i bought some branch bites and bark bites............(mental note: must hide the bill from hubby)

Heidi, even though I would never buy an animal from PetSmart, I just love the selection of toys they have. Your chinnies are going to love all the things you bought.
I just bought new toys for them that are like lava bites but they are shaped like ice cream cones. I will have to look at the name of them when I go home.

Oh thank you! I'm so glad you share this particular problem with me! I do that all the time! Recently I made an order from Chinworld, then a few days later was thinking that I had not ordered enough and ordered more stuff from Lonestar Chinchilla. They both arrived on the same day...and dinner for us humans consisted of chips and dip...while the chinchillas feasted on fresh hay, new toys, a bit of supplement, and TWO treats each! My husband was curious about why I never want to to go grocery shopping with him, but am quite happy to shop for the chinchillas. I told him that if he could grow a beard as soft as the chinchillas' fur, I'd probably want to pick him up fresh food and treats, too! I think he has since resigned himself to being the one who does the grocery shopping and most of the cooking...

Yep! I did it too! Tonight I went to PetSmart to pick up a few cans of cat food. I ended up with dog food as well... a leap n ledge for Manuel's cage ($7.59..got a better deal than you Linus) and a new water bottle for Manuel. I ended up with a no-drip valve bottle with flip-top made by ALL LIVING THINGS.

denise.....i bought those ice cream cones too and they love them.............they are half gone already............and the calcium stixs are a huge hit too.............and so are the ledges.............peppers in paricular loves to sit up high and look down on linus LOL
the lava bites are not a great hit and i am wondering if they perhaps are too hard for them to chew on?
