Question:
For the past few weeks, I have noticed an increase in "goat behaviour" among 3 of my chinchillas : Freddy, Ginger, and Ritz.
Whenever I am near the cage but not paying attention to them (like if I'm feeding Phoebe or filling Cinnamon & Cracker's water bottle), they tug on my clothes with their teeth!!! I can practially hear them yelling, "Mommmmmmmmmm!! What about us???"
It's cute, but I really have to watch it or they will succeed in actually eating my clothes

When we had goats I never had any of them chew on my clothes, but they did have a penchant for chewing on my hair...just like my chinchillas do...maybe they are related!

Whenever bend down or stand very close to Buddy's cage, he tugs on my clothes. But then again, he does that to everything.

Lisa, I have two chinnies that like to tug on my clothes when I am cleaning their cage. Noel and Sebastian tug on my clothes when they want my attention. Noel is my number one goat and loves paper towels and plastic bags.
Lisa, you can't help but love them when they do such daft things like that.
