Question:
How often do you all let your chins bathe? I let mine bathe every other day...about 3 times a week. I live in a really dry climate and I don't want them to get dry skin.

I usually give mine a bath once a week. The dust really irrirates me and I end up itching like crazy. The air purifier I have in the room helps a lot too.

I try to give mine a bath 2 or 3 times a week. Kamloops is a really dry place so any more would not be good for the chinies imo

Usually every 3 or 4 days... less often with Pablo because he's prone to eye infections and I think the dust is iriitating to his eyes.

In the winter it is quite humid here in the Vancouver area, so then our chinchillas get a dust bath every day. It has been unusually dry here though, so over the summer and thus far this fall, it has been every other day.

i give them a bath according tohow they look...............usually about once every 3 days..............linus gets one more often as she is nuts about them.....

When it is summer and spring, I usually let them bathe every other day, usually towards the middle of fall and into winter they get baths twice a week or sometimes even three depending on the weather. It has been known to have humid fall days here!
