I'm posting this for a friend...
Her 14 year old chin has a swollen stomach. He is pooping and peeing as normal but the vet couldn't say what it was.
My first guess would be gas, but that would show up on an x-ray wouldn't it?

yes, gas would show up on an xray, I would know b/c I took my chin to the vet last night for a swollen stomach. You would be able to see the air pockets if she had gas. If you find out what the swollen stomach means, please let me know! hopefully my vet will be able to tell something today about the condition.
