friendlist breed?
Question: which breed is known as the most friendly? Answer: i think this is a very hard question.... i have heard that most breeds of cats are friendly.... we own 2 birmans, great friendly cats... but ragdolls, maine coons, burmese, the rex's etc. are all friendly as well... i don't think you'll find a cat breed that someone doesn't think is friendly. i guess its the same as everything though... people have different opinions. Answer: Your Basic Domestic Cat... IMO Answer: The ragdoll wins as being the most docile, very gentle, and mine walks on a leash when I walk the dogs. But if you give a cat love, they will always love back. Answer: I would have to say Ragdoll too. Their friendly and out going dispositions are why I chose to breed them. Answer: well i have a Calico cat and a domestic cat and they are both little sweethearts Answer: Ragdolls probably most, but I find Siamese very outgoing & friendly as well. My mixed breed cat Hank hates everybody except me & has brutalized the foster kittens I've taken on,so just because a cat is non-purebred does NOT guarantee a stable personality. If it is a guartantee of personality you want, it is better to go w/ a purebred of a friendly breed from a good, not too closely inbred bloodline selected for personality. Attend some shows & chat w/ breeders. Answer: maine coons are nice too..if you in to huge cats. they are nice a poofy. big cat little roar. ragdolls are good too. Answer: Humm, I currently have a few different breeds- though none are pure bred by any standards but I do notice soem trends: My siamese and siamese crosses tend to be loud talkers and VERY socialable- always wanting attention. THey seem to be much more of demanding cats for they will make you pay attention to them and do all sorts of annoying but cute things to get your attention. My calico females tend to all be pretty independent and not really care about much interaction. Do anyone else see this with Calicos? They seem real quiet and like to be by themselves and tend to be pretty dominate in the cat heiarchy tough (as a matriarch or something). Now my Oragne Tabby males are my true loves. I never thought I would ever like the orange tabby but i have to admit, they are one of the hardiest, even tempermented, and sweet cats I have seen. Just some observations- what do ya'll think. amy Answer: One of the vets we visited with Sydney (female calico/tortie) said that in his experience, calicos are usually mean cats. He also mentioned that usually they prefer one or two people and couldn't care less about other people. He didn't even want to take Syd out of her kennel and asked me to do it! Syd is a very nice cat. I have heard her hiss once and that was at the foster kitty I brought home. However, she is very particular about who she likes. She will only snuggle if Jason and I are by ourselves. Around everyone else she acts like she doesn't even know we're there. In fact, we have a really hard time convincing anyone that is a nice cat. She is definitely the queen of our house though. Male orange tabbies I have heard are generally the sweetest cats. I have a feral orange tabby who is quite a love but still has his "moments".
