Question:
Since I haven't been around for a long while, here's the update on Secret.
Rincewind gave a pretty good description in the 'we're back' thread but I figured since I took some pictures of Secret today (I'd take some of Taboo but she's still a crazy "I won't stay still" girl) I'll post a few up.
Secret now weighs in at 522 grams. Her weight gain has been quite steady from the moment I got her. I suspect she's gonna end up being a fairly large chin.
Secret still loves people - she's even great with strangers. She handles like a dream (if there are horse folk out there, you might notice some horse vocabularly influence here). Secret is quite the shoulder chin - since I often have a bad habit of being up late at night she is often my companion staying put on my shoulder as I move about.
She doesn't make for the floor or attempt to run wild - instead she will stay near me and loves nothing more than to use me as an activity course.
In all, she's the chinchilla I always wanted - a 'love bug' who enjoys attention, cuddles, and happily interacts with people.
One thing I have noticed about her - she is never grumpy about being woken up. She's taken to being active around lunch and whenever I first enter my home office. If ignored - she'll go back to sleep.
