My cat Ashes is a real troublemaker. The other day we left 2 bags of pork chops to thaw. But we know better then not to cover them with a plate on top too because Ashes likes to get on the counter. WELL...she was caught with a bag of porkchops...she'd knocked the plate off the top...dragged the bag to the livingroom, chewed into the bag and licked the juice out!
Bad cat. But she was so cute that I still cut a piece of my cooked porkchop off and gave it to her. Little mooch.

My parents have a cat, Alfalfa, who will also eat anything (especially if he knows he is not supposed too). one year for christmas we got a package of cheese and sausage logs (hickory farms type). Well the sausage log was wrapped in thick plastic and somehow he got into it, pulled off all the plastic and ate the ENTIRE log!!! my parents can't leave anything out
Sounds like ashes and alfalfa are very similiar....you can't be mad at them b/c they are just so darn cute (especially when they give you the sorry face )

I dont leave food out to thaw... Ill stick it in the microwave while its thawing... Aspen doesnt know how to open it ..... yet..... I think.... he does have the opposable thumbs tho..... hmmmm.. lol
