I'll probably jinx this, but......
Question: I am getting a new chin from Meadowbrook chinchillas on Sunday. I am so excited. I had a choice of two females, both are one year old, one is a tan and the other is a dark? hetero ebony. I chose the hetero eb, as I was aiming for a chin with good size, blockiness, fur density, etc., and although the tan had that, the ebony is even better. She is 812 grams, and still growing. She originally came from Jim Ritterspach. I will post pictures as soon as I get her home. Now, I just hope I haven't jinxed it by posting about her Answer: Laurie, you think along the same lines as I do! Sometimes it is too hard to not share good news like that. Your hetero ebony sounds beautiful. Jim has some really nice animals. Answer: Yes, I think we do think along the same lines, I have jinxed getting chins before, but wow, she is an awesome girl, hard to keep quiet. I have had a few chins either from Jim or from his lines, and they really are gorgeous and have a nice look about them. Mind you the tan was nice too LOL, wish I could get them all. But I went with many factors, and decided I can probably produce awesome tans later using her genes, and I am sure her kits would be stunning, so it will be worth the wait. Gotta go for the quality first Answer: Well congrats on finding her, I hope all goes well Answer: Congrats Laurie! Answer: Congrats...wow...she sounds very nice! Answer: Congrats! Answer: Thanks everyone Answer: Right on Laurie! She sounds beautiful. I am getting a medium hetero Eb vc , both parents are Ritterspach chins. I'm really excited about her too. carleen Answer: Congrats...we have two chins that are from Jim's lines....they are both beautiful (homo eb and hetero eb) and our breeder has quite a few from him.
