Hey Sophie - cast spray?
Question: Actually you might want to ask your vet if she has a product espacially made for casts and bandages that tastes VERY ICKY. It stays on the cast forever and discourages chewing. We discovered it about a week before tinsel's cast came off and it worked wonders for the short time we had it. I wish I could remember the name, but I know it's not bitter apple or fooey. It tastes 100 times worse. Just be careful not to spray your hands or else you'll be tasting this stuff forever! Did you ever find out what this was? If not could you maybe call your vet and see if it's in Tinsel's record? Praline's chewing her splint off, to the point that she's chewed her toe and it's bleeding. Answer: Oh no I hope Praline didn't do too much damage! I'll check at home tonight since I still have the bottle. Sorry I couldn't do it before! I was leaving for the weekend straight from work and I got home late last night. Answer: Ok I got it. It's called Dermicare Bitter Spray for Dogs & Cats I'm wondering if you'll be able to find it it because Ijust noticed it's a canadian product. Maybe your vet can find something similar??? Answer: I was afraid it was Canadian only. I'll do some online searching, see what we come up with. Thanks for the info, Sophie! Answer: The company who makes Dermicare is Avantix. Here is their website: www.avantix.ca It's not great but maybe you can contact someone to find out if there is a US equivalent. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
