So many times my chinnies have me laughing so hard I literally have tears running down my face. This morning Baxter had me laughing so hard I thought I wasn't going to be able to leave the house and walk to the train station without laughing. I had to compose myself before I walked out the door otherwise people would have thought I was completely
So....do any of your chinnies have this affect on you?

Our whole family is entralled with our chins antics! They make us laugh all the time. If ever I get in a bad mood all I have to do is go cuddle with one or sit and watch how silly they can be and I am cured and happy again!!!

Yes, Cub does that to me, & the gp's do too. Cub has an incredible sense of humour & the gp's are usually the targets of her pranks!!!

All of my animals make me laugh...
just last night, Lucia (who's on the bottom cage) was chewing on a single piece of Hay.. but it was sticking outside the cage.. Montana (my dog) walks over and takes the end of the Hay in her mouth and stole it!! She non-chalantly jumps up on the couch and starts chewing on the Hay! I laughed and asked her "Since when do you eat Hay??"

Chinchillas are quite possibly the silliest creatures with which I have ever dealt. Sometimes I giggle just at the odd looks they give me. I wonder...do we amuse them even more than they amuse us? Last night I was telling the three males in one cage to stop bickering over the food dish. All three jumped up on the same ledge, tilted their heads, and intently looked at me. I felt like I was the latest installment of their favourite television program.
