Fur chewing or grooming?

Question:
Whenever I put Zoe and Zeus together for their daytime playtime (about half-an-hour a day) they run around jump, etc. acting like normal chinnies, But usually after about 15 minutes or so, they will walk up to each other, sit and nibble on the others fur, usually around the ears or the base of th etail. They just sit there whenever th eother does it, but sometimes they make these odd squeaky sounds and then chase each other for a second, then start at it again. I don't know if they're chewing each others fur or grooming each other...
They have been together (during playtimes) for almost a month, I am waiting to move them together in about 2 weeks (when new cage is built).
Zeus is 3 and has been in with other chins before coming to live with me, and Zoe is just about 10 months (May 7) and was with her sister before I bought her.
Sometimes the sounds sound like sneezes, sometimes, just squeaks.
Thanks,
Shayna

Answer:
Yep, sounds like grooming. If chewing were happening, you would see dark patches of shorter fur.

OK, thankies guys.

Answer:
Yup I would say grooming and loving...I just put two of my standards together and they are all about the face grooming...Until Jax tries to mount Skye, then she just runs out from under him and he has to start the whole face grooming thing again.

Answer:
Chinnie love is just so sweet!
