Praline got her collar off on Saturday and has since been hiding from me.
She is MUCH more active and eating/pooing though, so I'm not complaining!

The superficial wounds are healed, yes. The joint is still very swollen. We're not sure at this point whether it's infection, soft tissue swelling, or what. Right now it's kind of acting as it's own splint and keeping it in place, so the plan is to keep her restricted activity-wise and on Baytril for a total of three weeks, which is the normal course for a bone infection. (She's on pro-biotics too and poos look great)

Evidence of poos are always a good thing. I hope Praline doesn't have an infection and at the end of her meds, the swelling is gone .
