Dilemma...

Question:
I'm in a dilemma. I have four chinchillas and I don't feel like I'm doing a very good job with all of them. I can't give them the attention they deserve, specifically Pooh Bear. Lately, he's been chewing a lot more and he's restless. He's also pretty thin, even though he eats like a beast.
Yeah, I feel terrible because I rarely have enough money to spoil all of them like they should be spoiled. So, now I have to decide whether or not rehousing two of the chins would be good. I'm leaning on yes... it'll take stress off me and them. I even found a home for one of the two chins I'm thinking of rehousing.
But, I don't know if it is a good thing. I'm thinking of them and not myself. I'm just confused. What do you guys think?

Answer:
From my experience, you will never make a wrong decision if you are looking out for the animals first. If you think they would be happier in a new home, I would go for it. It will be hard but you will have the comfort of knowing that you gave them the best possible life (even if it's not with you). Good luck with your decision.

Answer:
I totally agree with Candice. It's not an easy descision to make, but what you decide should be in the animals best interests. You will know what's best

Answer:
I agree with Candice and Lixx. Good luck.

Answer:
We do invest emotions along with money when we have pets. Letting a pet go is letting some of that emotion get taken away as well. It will not be an easy thing. That does not mean it is not the right thing though. A choice made out of love is not necessarily the right choice, but it is a choice made for the right reasons. Whatever your decision, I'm sure you have the support of everyone here.
