question about chewing
Question: i have 2 stardard male, one of them like to chew another's fur anyone have the same experience??why?? Answer: i havent ever had chinchillas do this before, but this sometimes indicates poor diet, boredom, stress, it could be a number of things.. i would either move the two(& im hoping you arent breeding a fur chewer, for obvouse reasons..) or you can take them to the Vet. & see what they say,, but make sure its a GOOD exotic Vet... sorry i dont have more help.. Answer: I have a pair of rescue males that do this. I think it is a dominance issue, as the bigger "boss" boy is kind to his cagemate but always shows that he is boss. They have never been bred for obvious reasons so I can' t tell you if he would do that to a female. Answer: Is the one male chewing the other's fur, or simply grooming? You wouldn't have any pictures, would you? Answer: Lol I was going to say exactly what Kreenish said. Copyright © 2007 - 2008 www.tendlife.com
