New Scratching Post

Question:
We came across this scratching post for $50 and couldn't resist. We would still like to build our own too. I'd say it's about 3.5-4 feet tall. And the cats love it so far.

Answer:
I want one!!!

As soon as I get some bills settled I plan on buying the cats a big big one,,,,,,Kody is a BIG carpet scratcher but the only thing I have for him to scratch is a mat,,,,,and he goes right to town on that so i think he would LOVE a big carpet tree

I know it owuld be cheaper to build one and Craig told me 2 yrs ago he would and Im still waiting,,so I think I will buy one

Answer:
That looks really cool Candice And $50 is a real bargain! I think I paid about $50 for this I gave my guys for Xmas. Although they love it (as you can tell ) it's quite a bit smaller than the one you got for the same price. Do you mind me asking where you got yours?

Answer:
What a deal!! I know I'm going to have to get a few more what we *hopefully* move. Now then, do we get pics of the kitties on it?

Answer:
Wow Candice, what a great find! Did you get it at a store or used? I wish I could find something like that for $50 around here, but all the ones I've seen for that price are so small.

Answer:
Hey, cool post! After we get our furniture (which is somewhere in a truck somewhere on the west coast) I can't wait to give the kitties a huge ol' tree! I want to put it in the living room in front of the sliding glass doors so they can see the birds, squirrels, and ducks.

Answer:
My friend went away for Xmas and when she got back her petsitter had bought one of those posts for her cats! (I want that sitter if I ever go away!) I think she got it at Walmart.. my friend said she saw them there and they were $50..

Answer:
at walmart??? I have to look there!!!

Answer:
We got ours from a new store that just opened in town. But it's right across from the Wal-Mart. Anyway, it was new when we bought it but the kitties already have it looking like it's used.

On a side note, I popped into the new store again to buy some last-minute treats for Taz (he cannot go to bed without a treat in his tummy!) and found that they had greatly improved their selection. The first time we went in, they only carried Nutro, Acana, and Nutrience. Now they are carrying Wellness and trying to get Innova. We buy from an independent store anyway but I hope to buy a few things from the new store to keep them in business. Long story made short, I bought Taz two different kinds of Wellness biscuits because I couldn't decide.

Answer:
I was looking at cat posts the other day.. I didn't see many that had sisal rope on it and thats what my cats like best so I think I may build my own (with help) after I move..
I think it would be cheaper as well!
