When Chu was only a week old he was attacked by a male chin at his former home. Both he and his brother were badly injured. Chu lost a bit of his left ear and almost lost his left eye. He has a slight squint because of the injury but that only gives him character. His brother, Pika, lost his tail and all of his right ear
