New flyer saucer

Question:
I just got my Flying Saucer wheel for my chins... I set it up in an extra cage and the last 2 nights have let all 3 of my chins spend some play time in there. Lucia has shown the most promise so far... she's actually gotten to the point of running on it (briefly.. before getting thrown off!).. whereas Pablo & Manuel just get on it and have a little swing.. then jump off. I guess they'll get the hang of it eventually.
For those that have a Saucer.. how long did it take for your chinnies to actually run on it properly?

Answer:
It took Misty and Sierra two days to get used to it. It took them about a week before running on it like they had had the wheel for forever.

Answer:
Lucky little chins! They will be enjoying that wheel to the fullest in no time

Answer:
Don't feel bad Sue! My girls have been on the wheel for a total of 2 seconds in the last day Tim just keeps looking at me and saying : "I thought you said they'd just know what to do"
Lets see who runs first between your chins and mine

Answer:
When is Tim going to learn that he should never believe you!
Lets see who runs first between your chins and mine
OK.. you're on!
Lucia looked like she was starting to get the hang of it.. a few more hours and I think she'll be a pro!

Answer:
It took Diego quite awhile to be proficient at the wheel. I think it was a month or so. He's always the cautious one so it was hard to get him on the wheel in the first place. Santos, Hazel, and Zoya were all pros to begin with. Santos' favorite trick is to run as fast as he can, jump off, and then jump on again (while the wheel is still turning ) and pick up again.

Answer:
Santos sounds like a Show-off or a Daredevil.. I'm not really sure which!

Answer:
A bit of both.

Answer:
good luck Su.. I dont have the flying saucer.. but when I first got the kids I got them a regular wheel.. (dont use it at all anymore!!!) Livvie loved it she ran forever and ever.. Charlie didnt go near it.. poor poopoos hasnt been able to use it tho.. dont want her hurting herself.. so I keep trying to bribe Andy into making one out of that pan thing with the bearings... we will see.. he just keeps telling me that paying 50.00 for a wheel is rediculous.. oh well... then he needs to make me one.. lol

Answer:
I'm petsitting Sambu (Lucia's ex-boyfriend) for 2 weeks... He came over tonight and before his owner even left he was running on the wheel like he has owned one his whole life! SHOW-OFF!!!
