My Willow does them too! Not quite as continuously as you are describing but when she wakes up in the evening she does them for quite a while and them seems to get it out of her system for a while.
Yours actually looses hair doing it... I'll have to watch out for that!

lol its getting thin there from it.. not that it comes out in clumps.. probably kind of like a baby when they are rubbing there head from laying down...
it does grow back.. cause when he didnt have a house to do the back flips on it was growing back in thicker...
when he doesnt have the house in there he goes nuts.. hehe... he will stand on his back legs and lean back as far as he can trying to find the house.. to flip on.. hehehe....
he is such a character... and such a sweet boy... he looooooooves getting some love.... but he hates to be held!!!
he gets excited when I come in the room and just runs all over his cage along the sides and all.... makes a massive racket too... lol

Sounds like my little girl does her flips a little differently. She takes off from one side of the cage...runs along the shelf...grabs a couple of side bars...and then backflips over...all the while moving from one side of the cage to the other.
Boy...maybe we could have our own little acrobatic team....
