NO WAY! Azure is on his 3rd water bottle in a week . I can't believe him-he's eaten 3! I'm going to Petco to get a glass one this afternoon...little turd. I guess he's taking being separated from his wife and kids harder than I though.

The flat backed ones? Yeah, they have them here, but I only see glass for a hamster...so I'll probably get the Lixit bottle. His 8 month old sons have got that Lixit bottle with the turtle in it...and they haven't torn it up, but I don't think they are destructive like dear old dad.

The only glass they carry is this tiny tube for mice and hamsters...I'm going to get the Lixit flat backed bottle in hopes that he doesn't destroy this one too.

We had the same problem with one of our chinchillas. She kept on punching a hole in the top, so all the pressure was gone... ...we put a metal strip in front of the bottle so they can't get to the plastic part...they haven't killed another water bottle since.

I swear he's just pining for Lily and the kits. He's even starting to chew his fur He hasn't done that since he first came to me. He's never been this destructive-he only usually eats one bottle per 6 months.

Aww, poor guy. He must really miss them. I had a few killed bottles, and switched to glass. Lucky for me, my local store has them ( though not cheap ). But they pay for themselves eventually.
