Okay, I just have to share my joy. There is a new chinchilla arriving at our house on September 2! Hurray!
Umbra, a medium ebony, is arriving from Jacquie Barnaby of La Chinchilla. Thanks Jacquie! After a quarantine period, I want to introduce her to our beige male. If that works out, Wingnut will finally have his own girlfriend, and won't have to be content to just sniff someone else's sweetie through the cage. You may remember Jacquie's posts about Umbra and the four quads Umbra delivered awhile ago.
I'm just so excited I had to share the joy!
I'll be sure to post pictures once she is settled in all nice and snug!
Hmmm, you know we are getting a new couch and dishwasher on the 31st, and I can barely stifle a yawn over those arrivals. Is there something wrong with me?
