Thank you all. She just made that freaked-out, danger danger noise. My other chinchillas on the other side of the basement all jumped up to see what is going on. I went over, chatted with her a bit, gave her a shredded wheat, and now she seems happy to be munching away. I'm thinking maybe I'll move her upstairs to the living room as it is cooler out now. There she will get more attention from us. I don't like the idea of her being all alone over there, but also don't want to break quarantine. At least down here she can hear the other chinchillas, and they can hear her. I'll ponder this one a bit.
