Punkin kitty, aka Scampy, is doing really poorly. Had him in earlier this week, and then have been trying to get thru to the clinic for two days. Finally got thru today and took him in, which at least they let me come in before other appts, but Punkin now has a bad eye infection, looks like death, isnt eating and has lost weight since his last visit. The Vet said I could decide...if I want to keep trying a little longer, or have him euthanized now. I just lost it, I mean I knew he was sick and all and I even told E this morning i knew this might come to this, but to hear it and have it put to me to decide was too much. I started crying and immediately apologized for being such a sap. Anyway, I told her i wasn't comfortable making that choice, so she said she would, then I told her to let me try at least thru the weekend. I know he feels miserable, but he is so happy just to be held... and that poor little scruffy, eyes swollen, snotty face just broke my heart. So i am gonna put him on extreme TLC and keep him upstairs and work really hard to get him to turn around. I dont want to see him suffer, but i am gonna give it my best shot.

Oh no!! I'm sending loads of healing thoughts for Scampy. The poor wee babe Please don't ever feel you need to apologize to a vet for crying. I bawl at mine every time I have to say goodbye to a critter and they totally understand. And if they didn't, I wouldn't care - I'd cry anyway.
Come on Scampy! Keep fighting and get better!
