Weird colored chins
Question: Okay...someone here has to know what a beige violet, white sapphire, and a white violet are. How would you even get these, and do you know where pics are? I'm asking because I was looking through the pedigree's of some of my chins, and they've got these in thier background. I've never even heard of a beige violet Answer: http://www.silverfallchinchilla.com/...et_hybrids.htm There are pictures of a Beige Violet and a White Violet there As for the Sapphire I looked and theydon't have any example pictures. www.silverfallchinchilla.com is a *wonderful* site if you ask me, very informative!! I'd recommend taking a peek around if you have a chance! Answer: Wow, that is the most informative site I've ever seen. Those are kind of weird looking chins I can't even tell the difference between a homo beige and a beige violet I never knew they had such things. On that site there is a breeding calculator...I went through everything trying to find out how you'd get one of these weird ones. I can't even begin to imagine how $$$ they are. Answer: Marla (PA Chinchillas) from this site used to have a gorgeous white violet named Beau. I wonder if she still has a pic? Answer: You can get a white violet by crossing a mosaic violet carrier and a violet chinchilla. I have a pair (white mosaic v/c dam x violet (poss tov) sire) which could give me a white violet. So far they haven't White violets pretty much look like a white mosaic would, except instead of having black or dark grey markings, they have violet markings. Beige violets look like a white violet, except instead of the WHITE "background", they have a beige background. Does that help ? Answer: Yes, it does. I couldn't figure out what exactly the difference was Hopefully your pair will give you a white violet Answer: Marla (PA Chinchillas) has beautiful chins. Here is the site to see Beau: http://www.pachinchillas.com/photos/whiteviolet.html He is absolutly beautiful!!!! You can get white violets by breeding a white mosaic vc and violet. You can get a beige violet by breeding a beige vc and a violet. Answer: Also, you can get a white sapphire by breeding a white mosaic sapphire carrier (SC) with a sapphire. I haven't seen a white sapphire before. Maybe I can find a pic and post to help all of you out. Answer: Ok, I went on a color search to see if I could find some pics of these colors and I did it. YAY!!! Here is the web site you can find all the colors you want to see!!! http://www.chinnychinchins.co.uk/Colour%20Pictures.htm Hope this helps Answer: Is that Beau?
