Question:
Anyone use Woody Pet Bedding for their chinchillas? If so, can you tell me anything about it? It's supposed to be non-toxic and usually used for horses but is supposedly great for small animals. If you've tried it, what's your opinion

Hi I've only had experience using it with Guinea Pigs and it was fantastic for that purpose. Never tried it with the chins, as I was worried they might be more inclined to nibble on it.

Here is the site www.woodypet.com It's mostly used for horses and they say that if eaten it drys out the mouth...since its processed to remove all the oils and such, it tastes nasty so animals don't want to eat it after the first little taste. Says it's made from white wood so I e-mailed them asking what kind of white wood and sever other questions.
