Question:
Every morning, Syd comes into the bathroom with me and watches me get ready. Usually I turn the water on for her to get a drink. Sometimes she will play in it, sticking her head under, batting it with her paws, etc.
Yesterday, she decided she was going to lay in the sink. The water is running (you can see in the pic) but it didn't seem to bother her that she was getting wet.

Silly cat! I petsat a co-workers cat 'Flicker' for a few months and he did the same thing... he'd even come IN the shower with me. My cats sometimes hang out on the edge of the tub but they don't like to get wet...

Syd doesn't really like getting wet unless it's her own doing. You'd think we were killing her if you could hear her at bathtime.

Candice, my parents cat Inky sounds like just Syd. Inky accompanys my mom every day in the bathroom while she takes a bath and gets ready. after mom's bath, inky gets in the bathtub, mom turns on the water and she cleans herself up! she loves it and purrs like crazy. if inky doesn't get in with my mom, she will sit outside the door, scratching and crying like she was abandoned. inky also loves to lay in the sink...even though she is a huge cat and doesn't fit as well anymore. Inky also doesn't mind when you turn on the water for her in the sink.
I think inky and syd are related

This is funny because yesterday I was watching a program where this cat loves to go in the shower everyday. Her owner turns on the shower head and she jumps in for a full body shower. It was so cute to watch!

hehehe... that hillarious.. I guess there are more wierd cats out there than I tought there was... Aspen loves to come in there and hang out with us too when we are in there.. and he also likes to watch the toilet too..
