My fur babies

Question:
I wanted to share some pics of my two kitties. I figure if I'm chatting about them, it good to introduce them properly.

Here is our first cat Willow. We adopted her in Scotland and brought her back to Canada with us when we moved. She's about 3 now, and has the biggest attitude (she didn't have a great life before us) even though she's tiny tiny tiny. She hates strangers and will generally hide if anyone comes over. She likes my husband okay, but only if he's giving her special pets or treats. But she loves me. She is so affectionate now compared to when we first got her. She sits in my lap, and will often cuddle beside me. I feel very special that she likes me so much, I know its not easy for her.

And here's our other cat Hugh Fernley Whittingstall (we just call him Hugh). After we'd been back in Canada for a few months, we thought it would be good to get Willow a friend. We found Hugh through a rescue foundation, and fell in love with him at first sight. He had a horrible cold (upper respitory?) and was all sniffly and sucky. We had to wait for him to get better before we could take him home, but he was worth the wait. When he first arrived, the woman from the rescue opened his crate, he walked out, and came and sat in my lap (although there's no denying he's 'Daddy's Cat' now!). He is the friendliest cat ever, and does he love to play! I've never met another cat like him. He's about two now, and is perfectly healthy and very happy. He put on a bunch of weight and has filled out nicely. He looks like an average size cat, but to pick him up you'd think he was made of concrete. Very dense! He loves Willow and although it took a little while, she's come around to loving him (although she'd never admit it).

And here's one of the two of them. They're not exactly cuddle buddies, but they do like to be together

Answer:
They are absolutly beautiful!

Answer:
Pretty kitties, Jen. What is the apparatus that Hugh is playing on? It looks fun.

Answer:
Beautiful kitties!

Answer:
Cute! Willow has a face that just says a-t-t-i-t-u-d-e LOL! Hugh looks like a big ole friendly guy.
I am interested in their play thing also- it almost looks like it was made out of a headboard. Did you make it?

Answer:
Thanks everyone! Hugh is actually playing on our stairs, they're the 70's style that you can see through. He loves them! When we're on the main floor, Willow likes to sit on the top one where she's out of the way but can still watch everything that's going on. Hugh likes to try to attack us through the slats as we go up/down the stairs. One day when we move he'll be very sad they're gone, they're much better then the two cat tree's that we have

Answer:
Awww! They both have such beautiful green eyes!

Answer:
Awww they're so cute! Congrats on having such a cute cat family!

Answer:
Cute cats Jen! Hugh looks like he has very unusual markings on his body.. do you have any pics of his back? From the picture on the bed, you can see two thick black strips down his back..

Answer:
Wow, those stairs look fun! My cats would have so much fun playing on those.
