Rescue Stories

Question:
How many of you here do rescues? Where at? And, last question, what are some of your most touching stories? I am working on a page for Pocky (spoiled yes.) and I was thinking of putting rescue stories on there for all to read! I'll only put them up if you tell me it's ok to, but I really am curious to hear some of the stories of a chin rescuer.
I'd like to do rescue, but I think i'd fall in love with every one that came to me! Plus we'd run out of space real quick :P I just live vicariously through other rescuers!

Answer:
i have a resuce chinnie named sally...........she is an older ( i am guessing around 8 years) standard girl. She was found roaming a parking lot in vancouver by a couple. They heard something inside the wheel of their car and when they went to look there was a scared little chinnie. She was thin, covered in oil and half dead when they found her. She was broght to the spca and bit everyone who came near her cage. Friends of m ine who volunteer at the spca told me about her and i adopted her. She use to grind her teeth terribly, and in the beginning had to be syring fed. She was a real thin little grump when i got her. I have had her a little over a year and she is now my friendly little chub chub girl.....and she has made friends with my other little rescue peppers....who also came from the spca :0)
here is a pic of her now and a pic of her when she just came here....quite a change eh?

Answer:
That's awful! It's wonderful that she found such a loving home where she could be treated as a chin should be
