And just when i thought the stray magnet had been turned off- this guy shows up. I gave him a can of food last night out the back door- he grabbed the whole can and ran off with it. He came back today and Ginia (of course) caught him. He's an unneutered male- so he's exiled to the bathroom where everything is washable (I'm afraid to leave him out with Lila and Sirius). I'll put an add in for him tomorrow. He's pretty dirty and a little beat up- but I'm pretty sure there are no cats around here- as all my neighbors prefess to hating cats. He's got curled ears and a stubby tail- a great personality, too.

yeah.. we got one of those stray magnets here too.. but not only do we catch strays we catch some that are just runaways... lol.. I would say since we have lived here we have had at least 4 stray cats and 3 stray dogs...

i rescued an uneutered male, too. (he's still here, but neutered now. ) do NOT put him near anything that you can't clean easily. he still has scent marking stuff in his urine and it will STINK!! make sure he has a litter box and that you put him in there and rake his paw in it so he knows what it is.

I gave him one of our litterboxes- changed, but not washed out so the smell lingered. It took him a while- he wasn;t sure about it- but he's been using it. I had one male that never did figure it out- and he was spayed very young. I regret ever putting him out as he went mising/was stolen/?. That was 10 years ago- I haven't tried a male in the house since- but dogs are a relatively new thing to us and Lila an Sirius would eat him no doubt.
