Question:
Deuce has fit in very nicely- and seems to have accepted this strange restriction about where he can and can't go to the bathroom. He and Mouse have made good friends- though he doesn't put up with her antics- he pins her down and washes her face when she tries to wrestle. Hermie has so far steered clear of him but Hermie steers clear of everything. Booger, though, has been the most shocking of all- the only encounter whatsoever we've witnessed- they approached each other from across the room, touched noses, then went on their seperate ways! That is practically a Booger blessing.
As for the small critters- he has only shown interest in Ditto- and Ditto, being Ditto, gave his a sharp nip on the nose- and it has done well to insure Deuce has kept his distance ever since from any of the cages. I'm sure having his belly always full is enough reason for our new man to not bedevil his little brothers and sisters.
He is still quite dirty but will not attempt to bathe him until he gets his stitches out. Has anyone tried any of that stain-remover for pets? Like they use on white-dog's eye stains? I was wondering if that would help get the blood stains off his forepaws. Of course, it will eventually fade and shed...

He is a handsome guy! Rubbing alcohol works really well to remove blood from fur. You could try washing his paw with alcohol.

Thanks for the tip! I'll give it a try. He's not one to be held still, though- so don't know how a bath is gonna go. I am probably gonna have someone standing by to call 911.
